We have worked closely with both public and private sector stakeholder partners to deliver apartments that enable older people to continue to live independent lives with the added security of care and support. One Housing Group’s Season Senior Living manage the facility.

A 5,900 square metre building housing a range of health and social welfare services for local people including:

  • 60 stylish and self-contained apartments over three floors
  • 47 one bed and 13 two bed apartments
  • Wheelchair accessible balconies to all upper apartments
  • Communal facilities include:
    Attractive reception and foyer
    Communal dining and stylish licensed bar
    Landscaped gardens
    Underfloor heating throughout
    Modern laundry room
    Assisted bathing suite
    Mobility buggy charging store room
    Wifi in all communal areas
    Lifts to all floors

The scheme is supported with £1.7 million grant funding provided by Essex County Council One Housing Group is the Registered Provider providing housing management and care via its Senior Living team. The local authority will invest a total of £27 million to help create up to 1,800 new Independent Living homes to meet demand around the county over the next five years.
